I don't know if it's just me but there are numerous times when I got lots of photos of a certain place because I wanted to blog it but at the end of the day, I get caught up with a lot of things that I ended up reserving it for another day but then forgot about it again until I scroll on my phone's folder to delete some files and stumbled on the images.

This happened the other week. I was transferring files from my phone's drive as it's already full and I found several places that I had taken images when we were still in Cebu on March, all these images are still waiting to be shared. So I am posting them here before they celebrate their anniversary in my hard drives.

So, back in Oslob, I got bored inside the in-law's house and asked the husband if we could go out to Cuartel. This is a historical spot in town but there's a plaza there were kids can play as the ground is filled with grasses. The husband agreed but asked if we could grab some drinks as he was somehow craving for sweets, it was unusual of him but I was smiling inside, I was also craving for milk tea but didn't tell him so because I know it's sugar.

There are lot of milk tea shops in Oslob now and one that we just found out is Great Gab's coffee and tea. It's just a tiny stall but it's very accessible as it's on the roadside.

I would love to try their coffee but it was already 3:30 PM at that time, not a great time for me to have coffee as I might not be able to sleep in the evening. Maybe next time instead.

It seems like the owner had used their front yard for this business. They have alfresco set up with just a few tables but they have hanging tables too at the sides of the counter. I was attracted to it's "plantita" corner.

I forgot to ask the staff who entertained us why they call it Great Gab's but I suppose the Gab there is a name of the owner or perhaps it's their great grandfather.

I asked my husband and little one to stand in their little plant display here with bamboo poles installed as fence. It's really nice to see the bamboo wall and the plants crawling!

I believe that putting up this plants corner around here is a good idea. They could even set up a few single table and chairs, add more plants and it would be a gram worthy corner!

Perhaps the only problem here was that when we arrived, no one was at the counter. There were two customers at the side when we tried calling the staff and it took them a lot of time to come to the counter. I guess they were not expecting for any customers at all at that time.

I remember ordering red velvet cream cheese for Php 115 or 4 hive and a brown sugar milk tea for Php 100 or 3.5 hive.

My expectation wasn't high for this stall though. I just hope that the milk teas will not be too sweet. I like my milk tea not too sweet because I want to taste the tea in it so I always opt for a 50% less on sugar instead.

Thankfully, my brown sugar was not too sweet. I like that the pearls were nicely cooked. I hate it when the pearls are still hard and since we have to bring it to the park, there was condensation happening on the plastic cup!

We had tried the Sebucha Oslob and I can say that these ones from Great Gab's are a lot better. I hope they'll have a staff who's always at the counter to immediately entertain customers. So if you happen to be in Oslob and is craving for coffee or some cold milk teas, you might want to check out Great Gab's!
