Hello to all the fans of this great "Black-And-White": It's been so long since I last participated in this great initiative #"monomad": that if I had to say how long it's been, I couldn't. However, I'm very happy to be sharing these beautiful photographs with you all. Si bien no soy un fotógrafo profesional, hago fotografías desde muy pequeño; mis inicios fueron con una pequeña cámara tipo pocket que me obsequió mi abuelo. Comencé fotografiando insectos, plantas y flores; desde entonces nace mi amor por las tomas de la naturaleza. Con el auge de los paseos ¨fotograficos¨: 

Although I'm not a professional photographer, I've been taking pictures since I was very young; I started with a small pocket camera that my grandfather gave me. I began photographing insects, plants, and flowers; that's when my love for nature photography began. With the rise in popularity of photowalks ¨fotograficos¨: 

Las tomas que estoy compartiendo en esta oportunidad las hicimos en un espacio ¨recreativo¨: muy importante de la ciudad. Las plazas son de esos lugares donde doy con muchos temas para fotografiar; un objetivo recurrente son las personas. En estos espacios, ellas se hallan inmersas en sus propios pensamientos, lo que es genial para los fotógrafos que estamos pendientes de sus gestos y repentinos movimientos.

The photos I'm sharing this time were taken in a very important recreational space in the city. Plazas are one of those places where I find many subjects to photograph; a recurring theme is people. In these spaces, they are immersed in their own thoughts, which is great for photographers like us who are always looking out for their gestures and sudden movements.

Las personas son parte esencial de las fotografías ¨callejeras¨: . Me encanta sentarme en una esquina de la plaza y desde allí observar el comportamiento de las personas que visualizan sus teléfonos móviles, o aquellas que comparten una conversación con el acompañante del momento, o aquellos que viven en situación de calles y en medio de su soledad mantienen una conversación con alguien que solo ellos ven. ¿Quién podría afirmar con quiénes hablan, y de qué tema se trata la discusión? Vaya uno a saber qué pensamientos pasan por la mente de estas personas.

People are an essential part of "street": . I love sitting on a corner of the plaza and observing the behavior of people looking at their mobile phones, or those having a conversation with their current companion, or those living on the streets who, in their solitude, are talking to someone only they can see. Who could say who they're talking to, or what the discussion is about? Who knows what thoughts are going through their minds.

Me encanta fotografiar sujetos que tienen la apariencia de estar pensando, y me gusta suponer que con solo verlos puedo saber qué pasa en ese momento por sus cabezas. En un espacio recreativo hay tantas cosas por fotografiar, que lo convierte en un espacio muy tentador para aquellos que desean capturar con sus lentes los pensamientos que se lleva el viento. Siempre que visito este encantador lugar, no puedo evitar pensar qué habrá estado pensando el artista que hizo el monumento que lo recreó en esta postura de una persona inmersa en sus pensamientos. I love photographing subjects who appear to be deep in thought, and I like to imagine that just by looking at them, I can tell what's going through their minds at that moment. In a recreational space, there are so many things to photograph, making it a very tempting place for those who wish to capture with their lenses the thoughts carried away by the wind. Whenever I visit this charming place, I can't help but wonder what the artist who created the monument depicting this person deep in thought must have been thinking.
