Period architecture is great to see in… (My entry for the “monomad” challenge) [Esp/Eng].

Las veces que voy caminando por las calles céntricas y estoy parado frente a estos edificios de épocas, los fotografío pensando en compartir en esta maravillosa ¨Black-And-White¨:  que aman las tomas #monomad. Si se trata de ver fachadas de arquitectura de época, el microcentro es el lugar donde se puede apreciar la mayor presencia antigua.

Whenever I'm walking through the city center and I stop in front of these period buildings, I photograph them thinking about sharing them in this wonderful "Black-And-White": that #monomad photos love. If it's about seeing facades of period architecture, the city center is the place where you can appreciate the greatest concentration of old buildings.

Cuando me decido a hacer nuestra caminata¨fotografica¨:  por las calles de la ciudad, me concentro en los frentes y las fachadas de los edificios de épocas; no es que las construcciones modernas me desagraden, al contrario, pero en la simplicidad de estos edificios veo cierta atracción y me es difícil contener mis ganas de fotografiarlos.

When I decide to take our walk¨fotografica¨:  through the city streets, I focus on the fronts and facades of the period buildings; it's not that I dislike modern buildings, on the contrary, but I find a certain attraction in the simplicity of these buildings and it's difficult for me to resist the urge to photograph them.

El casco histórico, así se llama la zona donde comenzaron las primeras construcciones de nuestra ciudad, es por eso que en esta parte hay mucha más presencia de este tipo de edificios; además, como son antiguos y parte de nuestra historia, están protegidos y no se los puede demoler, lo que hace que el microcentro sea el lugar perfecto para fotografiar estas propiedades.

The historic center, as the area where the first buildings of our city were constructed is called, is why there is a much greater presence of these types of buildings in this part; Furthermore, since they are old and part of our history, they are protected and cannot be demolished, making the city center the perfect place to photograph these properties.

Las mayorías de estos edificios han sido construidos con manos europeas; por eso, entre los edificios antiguos hay ciertos parecidos, como el tamaño de las puertas, las rejas de los grandes ventanales, las banderolas sobre las puertas de ingresos y las coquetas ventanas en la parte superior.

Most of these buildings were built by European hands; Therefore, there are certain similarities among old buildings, such as the size of the doors, the grilles on the large windows, the pennants above the entrance doors, and the charming windows at the top.

Si bien es verdad que hay algo parecido en los frentes de los edificios antiguos, también hay esos pequeños detalles de manufacturas que los hacen únicos, y los hacen muy interesantes para hacer ese estilo de fotografiar para participar del ¨concurso¨:  Ha sido otro gran día de caminata por esta parte de nuestra ciudad; los edificios que hay son realmente muy interesantes de ver y fotografiar.

While it is true that there are some similarities in the facades of old buildings, there are also those small details of craftsmanship that make them unique, and make them very interesting for this style of photography to participate in the Contest: It's been another great day of walking around this part of our city; the buildings are really interesting to see and photograph.
