Much more than a counterweight, a piece of history (My entry for the "monomad" challenge) [Esp/Eng].

Nos volvemos a encontrar en esta maravillosa ¨BlackAndWhite¨:  para unirnos en este genial desafío #monomad. Espero que seas de esas personas que saben apreciar y disfrutar de las tomas hechas en la ¨calle¨:  Siempre feliz de recorrer el microcentro para enseñarles mi ciudad.

We meet again in this wonderful "BlackAndWhite": to join in this great #monomad challenge. I hope you're one of those people who know how to appreciate and enjoy shots taken in the "street":. Always happy to explore the city center to show you my city.

Qué genial contar con su compañía en mis habituales caminatas ¨fotograficas¨:  que hacemos en la ciudad; lo que me gusta de caminar en el microcentro es que es una oportunidad de hacer descubrimientos ¨fotograficos¨: interesantes que valen la pena disfrutar y compartir con los que visitan a diario mis posts.

How great to have your company on my usual ¨fotograficas¨:  walks we take in the city; what I like about walking in the city center is that it's an opportunity to make ¨fotograficos¨:  interesting discoveries that are worth enjoying and sharing with those who visit my posts daily.

Lo que resulta interesante es cuando estás frente a objetos exhibidos en algún rincón de la ciudad, que al parecer no tienen ningún sentido de estar allí, pero cuando te pones a investigar, te das cuenta de que no son solo objetos que sirven de contrapeso en una embarcación, sino que son un pedazo importante de nuestra historia. Es lo que sucedió mientras caminaba por esta parte y fui a dar con esta ¨preciosura¨: 

What's interesting is when you're standing in front of objects displayed in some corner of the city, which at first glance seem to have no reason to be there, but when you start investigating, you realize that they aren't just objects that serve as counterweights on a ship, but rather an important piece of our history. This is what happened while I was walking along this stretch and I stumbled upon this "preciosura":

Me hubiera encantado que junto al objeto existiera más información sobre el artilugio que acabamos de descubrir; un cartel que indique que es una parte de la ¨historia¨ : ; dado que no son solo objetos aislados cubiertos de corrosión, y que en algún momento fueron parte de un barco partícipe de una ¨guerra¨ :  que se llevó a cabo en esta zona del mundo.

I would have loved it if there had been more information about the artifact we just discovered; a sign indicating that it is part of the "history" : ; given that they are not just isolated objects covered in corrosion, and that at some point they were part of a ship that participated in a "war" :  that took place in this area of the world.

No se imaginan lo feliz que estamos de haber adquirido nuestra ¨Nikon¨-¨Coolpix¨-¨B500¨ : para fotografiar todas las cosas interesantes que hallamos en nuestras calles, y que valgan la pena ser parte de este maravilloso ¨concurso¨: . Este tipo de objeto me encanta fotografiar, y cuanto más óxido esté munido al artilugio, lo veo más interesante; es lo que me gusta de hacer este tipo de tomas, donde algunas personas ven un objeto oxidado, yo puedo apreciar una preciosa "obra" de "arte".

You can't imagine how happy we are to have acquired our Nikon-Coolpix-B500 to photograph all the interesting things we find on our streets, and that are worth being part of this wonderful "contest":. I love photographing this type of object, and the more rust it has, the more interesting I find it; that's what I like about taking these kinds of shots, where some people see a rusty object, I can appreciate a beautiful "work" of "art".
