This was my old photography of the sacred place called Monastery of Tarlac way back 5-6 years ago when i visited this place
About an hour and fifteen minutes from Luisita Tarlac, Philippines.Church of the Risen Christ.A popular tourist destination and pilgrimage site in the province of Tarlac. This is a monastery above the Mount Resurrection in Munacipality of Tarlac. In monastery can be found a relic of the True Cross. Monasterio of Tarlac is located at Mount Resurrection Eco Park in Barangay Lubigan San Jose Tarlac Philippines
Monastery is open daily from 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM and where theres a fee for all vehicles entering this place. The Monastery have a 278 hectare eco-tourism park that was developed by Congressman Jose Yap. Monasterio de Tarlac sits atop of hill,308 meters high.The place is surrounded by well-kept garden and landscape view of Tarlac.This is where the 30 foot Christ the Redeemer statue can be found. Like you visited the famous Statue of Rio de Janeiro at Brasil.
It was brought to Monasterio in 2007 from Essen, Germany.With the Sacred relic of the Cross of Jesus,which can be only found in Asia had been kept for about 1,000 years.This put the monastery on the map and pilgrims from around the country of the world have been visiting since.
This Monastery is not an old as most people have in mind.They constructed this on year 2000.As part of religious culture many people visited this place for retreat and prayers especially on Holy Week.
