A visit to Subotica and Palić zoo

Hello everyone and hello to the wonderful Pinmapple community. It is a pleasure to be with you again. 😊

A few days ago, my sister visited Subotica, a beautiful town in Serbia, and sent me photos that I will be happy to share with you today to introduce you to this interesting place if you haven't had the chance to visit it yet. My family and I visit this place often because it is very quiet and perfect for getting away from the noise and crowds.

In the vicinity of Subotica, there are many farmhouses where you can stay. One of them is Salaš (farmhouse) Jelen. If you want to experience your fairy tale, this place will be a perfect choice.

My sister was accommodated there this time and she was delighted with the hospitality of the hosts, the cleanliness of the accommodation, and the very delicious homemade breakfast. Within the farm, there are several smaller houses for the accommodation of guests. The houses are surrounded by greenery and authentic, traditional decorations.

If you have children, they can have fun in the park while you rest. Everything is adapted to rest and that is something that many of us often need.

Subotica is a city with impressive architecture. It is located near the Hungary-Serbia border, so the spirit of this country is felt at every step. In the town, there are many historical monuments and religious buildings with open doors to which visitors can enter freely.

The pedestrian zone is very spacious and surrounded by tall trees that provide shade and make you feel very comfortable while walking around the city.

Every time we visit Subotica, we like to go to Lake Palić, which is only a few kilometers away. My sister visited the Palic Lake Zoo this time, so let's take a look inside.

The zoo on Palić Lake is very well maintained.

In contrast to the zoo in my city Belgrade, where you are overwhelmed by sadness looking at closed animals, this zoo provides animals with greater comfort and stay in a natural and spacious environment.

This zoo has many animal species but also many protected botanical species.

Everywhere you look around there is a lot of greenery and it seems that the animals are happy in such a natural environment even though they are closed.

Subotica offers many opportunities for relaxing in a peaceful environment. The locals are very friendly and their culture amazes me again and again. It is a worthwhile place to visit.
