A visit to Silver Lake, Serbia

Hello everyone. Two days ago I visited Silver Lake, a popular tourist spot in Serbia and the nearby Ram fortress, which I wrote about in my previous post. I had a great day with my family, and today I am going to share my impressions with you.

Not so many years ago, Silver Lake was not as popular as it is today when you can hardly recognize it compared to the period before the urbanization of this area. Urbanization proceeded so rapidly that this place is now very much visited due to the large number of built apartments.

There are many guesthouses with beautifully landscaped yards in quiet streets leading to the lake.

No matter where you are located, you will reach the lake very quickly because everything is close and the place is small.

There are promenades with cafes and restaurants along the entire lake.

And there is a beach along the entire length of the lake, covered with small pebbles.

We wanted to be a little further away from the crowd and in the natural shade, so we settled on the grass next to the lake.

We spent some time there and then went to the aqua park across the street from the beach.

There were several pools there and my kids enjoyed swimming and going down the slide and I have to admit that I also enjoyed relaxing with them and being a child again. 😊

We spent the whole day there, and at the end of our trip, my children went down to the lake once more to say goodbye to it. 😊

As we had a great time, I am sure that we will visit this place again very soon.
