Wrapping up the holidays in style!

Yip! So that's it! Almost 7 weeks of holiday done and dusted! Honestly it feels like it just started yesterday haha.... no idea where it all went!!! It was grand though... whatever we did lol!

Being the last day of the holidays, we asked Jude what he wanted to do... his initial choices were "arcade and a boat ride" - the two are are on opposite ends of the world, so we scrapped the arcade and opted for some cave golf and a boat ride instead.

Jude has long since loved cave golf (which is essentially "putt putt" in a cave lol) and he was also excited because he got to pick up a new semi-precious necklace for himself. He loves that kind of thing... bought him a "tigers eye" once which he lost - but today he chose a blue obsidian.

Done with the cave golf, we headed off to book our tickets for the boat ride and then went to grab a bite to eat! Jude had a pizza, Dave a burger and I went for a kiddies chicken and mayo toastie... may as well enjoy the carbs today, because as of tomorrow.... they are gone gone GONE! haha!

Boat ride time!!! There are SO many boats to choose from at the waterfront, but Jude and I generally agree that the catamaran's are the most fun! They really give you that "right on the water" experience. If there were another one I would choose - it would probably be one of the speed boats, but no doubt I would end up overboard haha... so safer to stick to the catamaran lol!

On board and ready to go... it was time to order some champagne, listen to the instuctions whilst at sea and find a good spot to enjoy the ride... which NATURALLY was RIGHT at the front!

The trip is an hour long but it is actually quite depressing how quickly that hour goes and today I decided NOT to squander it trying to take pics the entire time, but rather to sit back, ENJOY and ABSORB the experience!

Once the trip was done, we had to rush a little as we didn't want to hit the "home from work traffic". Jude had some cash that was burning a hole in his pocket, so we went VERY quickly to "Hamleys" toy store...

and then... ONE more stop before we hit the road!!! Just a little "boy toy" treat for the little man! A visit to the Ferrari show room hehe.... what boy WOULDN'T LOVE that!!!

It was SUCH an amazing day and I was even MORE thrilled that I had procrastinated the "book covering" until the VERY last minute, of the VERY last day haha!! Oh well.... lol It was not that bad actually! Done and dusted, we officially head into 2020 as of 6am tomorrow morning!
