If you’re looking for a typical Indian experience, you’ll be sorely disappointed. The Gateway of India is not the place for that. Instead, it’s the ideal starting point for any trip to India. The city of Mumbai, which is India’s most populous metropolis, is one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. In this city you will find a fascinating fusion of ancient and modern, of wealth and poverty, of chaos and order. It’s one of the few places where you can discover the genuine India. All the photos in this post, I have taken while in Mumbai at the Gateway. :)
