Sunset on the harbor at Thessaloniki, Greece.
Hello Friends.
Hope you are doing great today.
The Sunset was so epic tonight that I just had to share it with you. It was one of those moments where you just stop and take it all in. The sky was a beautiful orange and the sun was just setting. It was the perfect way to end a day.
I also decided to try out Adobe Lightroom for my phone... so, after taking a few photos of the setting sun, it was on to post-processing and to make it look cool... or at least I think it is cool.
I think it's really cool that we can all have different opinions on what we think is cool. I mean, for me, cool is all about being something that is interesting and different. But for you, cool might be something totally different, just as capturing the colors at the moment as it. And that's awesome!
This all begs a larger question. What is art? This is a question that has been asked for centuries, and the answer is still not clear. Some say that it is the process of the product that is important, while others believe that the final outcome is all that matters.
For me, making art is a process. It's just not about the final product, it's about the journey, but then the destination as well. You have to put in the work to make good art. You have to meet the process and the product need to develop good art.
Hrm... this introduction sorta went off on a tangent, so I will just get to the photos and let you decide if you like them or not.
Anyway, the following photos were taken next to the White Tower of Thessaloniki. I hope you enjoy some of them and perhaps more ramblings about art.

Looking back at the harbor, the buildings in the setting sun. EPIC!
While at sea, the Sun started to set behind the distant clouds.
The blue is pulled out of this photo, leaving the sliver of orange that was burning into the sky.
The water was calm, I felt like I could step onto it.
Fire and Orange, the sun burned from its vantage point above.
Almost finished now, the final rays cress the still sea.
Then... Gone... just vanished from the sky.
The deep clouds started to move in, dumping rain or snow into the sea off in the distance, now free to do as they wanted.
Others stood like I did, amazed at the sight they had just seen.
While old men fish from the shore line, if they have gotten fish, they would still stand watching the sky.
Even as night sets in, the old men keep fishing, attempting to catch the last fish for the night.
Hope you enjoyed these photos and response in editing of them. :)
See you again tomorrow
Cheers
