Fat Tony's Slice Club. Danang, Vietnam
Dear readers,
Today I have some photos for you, of the pizza place that I went to last night. The name of the place is Fat Tony's Slice Club.
I don't know who that Fat Tony is, I don't know he's a retired mobster from Brooklyn, I don't know if is even real or not, but what I do know is that he has a pizza Club in Danang Vietnam that serves New York style pizza.
The pizza was great, and the wait was only about 8 minutes. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was perfect, and it was topped with cheese, mushrooms, zucchini, more mushrooms, onions and bell peppers.

Here we can see the logo blowing ever so nicely in the night, calling out for those late-night hungers. Gently whispering on the wind, to come, eat, have pizza and be merry.
You do get a traditional New York styled slice of pizza, About the size of your hand little bit larger. I grew up in Connecticut close to New York, I have had lots of New York style pizza... while not 100% authentic (* perhaps because he didn't have the New York water to mix with doe), I do recommend the pizza.
The restaurant to stories, bottom is where they served pizza, and top is a bar. I'm not ventured tto the second floor yet as it's not quite open, and a few days ago they had incident of the roof collapsing because the heavy rain... but sitting outside is a nice experience.
They do serve by the slice or you can buy it by the pie. if you do order a full pizza pie is quite large, I think you get 12 slices in it.
Inside they have a full classic arcade machine, filled with a bunch of retro video games to play. You can stay here for a couple of hours playing these classic games as you wait for your pizza to come!
They don't do the traditional brick oven fired pizza, but have these pizza oven instead.
The prep station looked pretty clean, everything was wiped out and looking santery, something that I did appreciate.
The kitchen was also well organized and clean. Some restaurants I go into here in Vietnam, Lets just say the kitchens are bit questionable... but at least here I feel the kitchen was clean and ready to serve!
I think this is a photo / image of Fat Tony. no one has ever met him, nobody is really sure where he is or what he does, or if he really exists or not. The only clues we have are in the echoes left in the business.
Well there you have it. Fat Tony's slice club in Danang Vietnam. A small pizza shop serving New York style pizza, run by a mysterious person no one has ever met, In fact we don't even know if he is American or Vietnamese... but what we do know is that can get some nice pizza, for a decent price!
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed the article!
Let me know down below the comments what your favorite type of pizza is or style pizza.
Cheers
