I’m traveling around Masbate for 3 days now. It’s part of Bicol region in the Philippines. This morning I went to Buntod Sandbar and Marine Sanctuary.

I hired a “bangka” an outrigger boat to take me to the sanctuary. Its 500 pesos good for 4 peson from Rendezvous Hotel and Beach Resort, they charge 10 pesos entrance fee. The travel time is around 10-15 minutes.

When you arrive at the sanctuary they also charge 20 pesos. You can rent a table or a cottage if you go there with your friends and family to eat lunch. You can grill or bring your own food.

Luckily there’s not much locals yet when I arrived. Feels like having the sanctuary all to my self hehehehe it will be busy already this weekend for the holy week. Almost everyone will go to the beach if they’re not religious enough to go to the church. I’m also taking advantage of the amazing weather. This weekend we are expecting a typhoon coming.

On this side there are a lot of mangroves around. I was so lazy to go swimming even if the water is crystal clear. For sure you will like it here. I definitely recommend it. Its a good day trip if you’re in Masbate city.

I don’t have the beach body yet. I’m still working on it and my mermaid tail didn’t work 😂

I stayed only for 2 hours there. I planned to go somewhere else to stay overnight. And eat lunch coz I didn’t bring food. That’s all for now. Enjoy your holiday.

Stay Salty 😊
