Holy Thursday when I decided to go to Mandaon in Masbate. Its an hour travel from the city if you take a van.

Are you ready to check it out?

Since I didn’t hire a guide going there, I walked 1.5 kilometers from the main road going to the cave. When I arrived, a lot of local tourists were there already. There’s a 20 pesos entrance fee.

My fave pic 😊

I love the color combination. Do you agree? Aside from that, it also doesn’t show the vandalism of the locals at the entrance of the cave. It looks really disgusting.
Some people loves to put their names just to show they were there. And they just leave their plastic trash. They don’t follow the principles of LNT (Leave No Trace).

A door to heaven 😊

If you go in there you can say hello to your friends who are already trekking going to the peak.

My tired duck face

You can say hello back to your friends who are still in the cave to that small hole. I didn’t sign up for an uphill trekking. I’m really in a bad shape now. I should get back to my routine run.

Stairway to heaven 😊

If you survive going up to that stairway, you will be rewarded with a 360 view of the Bat-ongan. I didn’t do it coz I didn’t have that much patience of waiting and hearing the screams of those who were ahead of me. I’ll save it for next time.

I’m settled for that view of the rice fields for the meantime. Its still worth it.

That’s all for now.

Safe Travels 😊
