Hello, fellow Lakwatsero( Travelers in Hive). Are you ready for another discovery? For Today's blog, we will visit another Island in the famous Hundreds Islands Of Alaminos Pangasinan. This is not a typical Island among the group but its beauty and being a spiritual Island will give you an unforgettable experience.
Come join me, Let's Explore this Pilgrimage Island!
The Pilgrimage Island
This Island is one of the bucket lists of everyone when having an Island hopping on this paradise. It is known for being a sacred place for Catholics. This is well visited during Holey week to worship and devote to Christianity. This place was established year 2017. The Hundred Island Tourism management makes this place sacred to promote the spiritual significance we have as Filipinos alongside its beautiful island features that you cannot deny.
The Island built a 56-foot Jesus Christ Statue, it is a very tall statue that you can even see from the wharf on the mainland. It also has 14 stations of the cross that Christian devotees visit especially during holy week observance.
After its development, this Island is recognized as one of te spiritual retreats and pilgrim sites in the Philippines. This attracts local and international devotees especially those seeking a spiritual journey surrounded by a beautiful nature.
This is an amazing place to worship and develop your faith in God. You can pray and worship while you enjoy this magical view of the Island.
On our adventure in this place, this is the first Island we jump in. Aside from the beauty it has we want to discover, we want first to ask guidance and permission from above that we will explore the place. We pray for our safety in our exploration of every Island.
Upon approaching the island, we were welcomed by the big statue of Jesus Christ. We were getting excited to explore it when we saw it. The Island has a floating platform in the middle of the sea where the boats are ducking to offload the tourists.
It is connected to Island and you need to walk on it. Just be careful, the waves and wind hit the platform making it moving that can cause you to unbalance and fall into the water.
When we are at the perimeter of the island and stand on this stable platform. We saw a lot of big Milkfish inside the net fed by the tourists. It looks amazing how big the milkfish is on the net and it's like playing with people feeding them. I think it stays there for too long, they are been used to people.
After a minute, we walk towards te other Island where my other colleagues waiting for us. This pilgrim Island is composed of two islands, it is connected by a small white sand bar in the Center. This is just a small beach area where some of the tourists like to take a dip.
The place is more developed than the other Island. It has a lot of worship structures built by management. You can also find food carts and stores if you think you need to snack and eat some food. They also create some landscapes that add beauty to the Island.
There are a lot of tourists in Island that day, some are exploring the 14 stations up to the Jesus Christ statue, and some are swimming and enjoying the beauty of the Island.
Yes, you can enjoy swimming and dipping in its crystal clear water and walk in the white sand of the Island. It also has a healthy marine life that you can explore.

We just stayed here for thirty minutes, we just explored a few sides of the Island and captured some photo opt. for our souvenirs. Then after, we go to our next Island to explore. I wanted to explore the whole Island and discover what it has to offer to us but due to compressed time in our tour, we didn't visit all its sides.
We still enjoy ur stay and are amazed withe the views we discover. I think this Island has a lot of beautiful views we miss out on that day, that might be the reason for me to discover on my next visit. Yes, diffidently I will visit this place again.
