I came across a job hiring for a resort here at our place. It was situated in an island down south of Cebu. This was during 2020 where I got so fed up with my job in a construction site and decided to find something different. And so I thought to myself "Why not?". I was scheduled for an interview, got excited and packed a bag.

Well, I didn't get the job but I got treated to a free overnight stay at the resort! I couldn't resist sharing you this beautiful place.

How to get there? Head to South Bus Terminal and get on the bus that is headed to Badian. This is the Resort's Port where a boat would take you across the Island. Waited 30 minutes for the Resort's boat to pick me up.

As I was nearing the island, I could see a stretch of sand. However, I was utterly taken when I landed on the beach. The sand was fine and white. Coconut trees lined up and a welcoming party for the other guests that day.

This is overlooking the main island where you could clearly see the mountain ranges.

Pool located inside the resort. They also hold activities and outdoor dining here.

This is a pool inside one of their private and expensive villas. Overlooking the mountains and the sea, I could ask for more.

This is the room I was staying. I just want to share the Filipino accent that is so evident on the interior. They actually use shells for the windows, doors and the ceiling, framed with a local wood. All their villas and rooms is designed promoting Filipino accents and culture.

I'm ending this post with a sunset shot at the beach. My stay here was definitely relaxing. The food and the people are great too!

The place is worth checking out!
