My friend is a big fan of durian pizza. He highly recommended me to have a try the durian pizza in La Cesar, so we found the shop near our home during the Labor Day vacation.
The dining-room is open and the decoration is simple. My friend told me that there's a staff wearing the durian costume and standing at the door to attract guests at popular time. Generally, many parents with children will be attracted to enter the restaurant for the baby durian is such adorable.
Standing at the door, we smelled a rich durian fragrance.
When we entered the restaurant, we found that the baby durian was taking a rest in the corner of the restaurant and many girls were taking photos with it.
It's not dinnertime when we arrived, so there're not many customers in it.
Recently, it seems that the restaurant mainly promoted the theme of Girls' Month. As a result, the domain color of the menu is pink. The most popular food on the menu is the "D24 Durian Pizza with Plenty Pulp" and the "Golden Pillow Durian Pizza".
Besides, there're various kinds of snacks and drinks, so the guest would be able to have multiple choices.
I am not a big fan of durian, so we chose a pizza with two flavors: "Golden Pillow Durian Pizza" + "Fragrant Mango with Drunken Chicken Pizza". As a big fan of the color of pink, I chose the "Cranberry Cream", while my friend chose "Cranberry & Peach Tea". The package also includes a snack platter.
After making the order through the mobile phone applet, the waiter will come and confirm the order with the customers.
The details of this restaurant are excellent.
The tableware and dining environment are very clean. The background music is cheerful but not too noisy. It is a place suitable for friends getting together or enjoy delicious food by themselves alone.
"Golden Pillow Durian Pizza" + "Fragrant Mango with Drunken Chicken Pizza"
It is a wisely choice to order a pizza with two flavors, for the fragrance of durian is very strong! Of course, it is great for durian lovers like my friend.
I mainly ate the Fragrant Mango with Drunken Chicken Pizza. Personal speaking, I think it tastes nothing special. Mango is one of my favorite fruits, while the flavor tastes absolutely strange when it has been cooked. Adding the drunken chicken makes the situation even worse.
However, the durian pizza tasted so great that my friend ate it all at once.
By the way, the pizza crust is pink due to the theme of Girls' Month. It is said that the color is extracted from beetroot. Somehow, it has the exactly the same taste with the regular ones.
This pizza is very sweet. If you don't like sweet food, I suggest that you should communicate with the staffs about the sweetness, so they would reduce the level of the sweet when they make the pizza.
「Cranberry Cream」
The color will instantly attracts the women customers' attention. The cranberry's sweet and sour taste can counteract the greasy feel of pizza, and the cranberry seed particles inside proofs that La Cesar uses the real fruit instead of amount of chemical compound.
「Snack Platter」
The platter doesn't come in very large portions, and it includes Grilled Sausage, Hash Browns and two kinds of Chicken Nuggets.
The best one is grilled sausage, and we ate them all as soon as the waiter served it. I think the hash browns are also delicious, though my friends think it is a little too soft. These two kinds of chicken nuggets tastes abnormal, and I even prefer the KFC and Mcdonald's ones. Furthermore, the black colored chicken nuggets makes me have less appetite for food...
