Fomo Pancake is located on the ground floor of Ruian Square in Xintiandi, the central part of Shanghai. The shop is not very big. Apart from the five high stools beside the bar, there are four small tables in the shop.
It was two o 'clock in the afternoon when we arrived, but there were still a lot of customers.
I've only seen Souffle on TV before, and this is my first time to eat this kind of food. The warm light and sweet smell of the food has the magic to pull the customers into the shop.
When we arrived at the cashier's, we found that the menu is not only in English and Chinese, but also in Japanese. I asked the server for the reason and found out that Fomo Pancake is a Japanese shop. The shop is so popular in Japan that the owner opened a branch in Shanghai.
The variety of food is simple, and it can be divided into SWEETS and SAVORY categories and some hot drinks.

Let's take a closer look at this menu. The hot drinks are relatively cheap, while the price of Souffle is about 50-70 yuan, which is a little bit expensive.
After making the order, the waiter said the we need to wait for about 15 minutes for the Souffle here are made for immediate consumption. There was just a table in front of us and we went to wait for our dessert.
Fomo Pancake is an open kitchen, and it seems that the hygiene is very good. Becides, we noticed that many appliances are Japanese brands.
The staffs are wearing the uniforms and have gloves and masks throughout the operation. It can be speculated that the staffs must have received systematic training.
As we had just had lunch, we just ordered two souffles.
Amalfi Lemon Tart
The exquisite cream and sweet-sour lemon sauce makes the Souffle tastes quite tasty and refreshing. For those who don't fond of sweet food and want to try dessert, Amalfi Lemon Tart is undoubtedly the best choice.
Creme-a-lil-Brulee
It is amazing that combines Souffle with caramel. The ice cream as well as the strawberry blueberry sauce is able to neutralize the overwhelming sweet taste of Creme-a-lil-Brulee.
