Hello friends, I'm back with a new article, about a very special place in Italy. Honestly, it happens to me that many people, especially foreign tourists, ask me which is the most beautiful beach in Italy, but in reality it is always difficult to answer this question!

But this beach in Tuscany is very special because it is reminiscent of typical Caribbean beaches with white sand.

Basically it is 4 km of coastline near Rosignano Solvay we are actually in the municipality of Rosignano Marittima It is a very popular place especially for those who like to take pictures to put on various social networks pretending to be in the Caribbean.

I was there myself a few years ago a bit driven by curiosity and eventually doing some research I discovered that all this beauty is actually due to a high level of pollution in the environment In fact, a famous factory located right next to the beach pours its production waste into the sea this deposits in limestone chalk on the bottom and creates this white beach.

Actually, a lot of Tuscans come here to sunbathe and say that this pollution is not dangerous anyway, but in fact some studies have been done in the past by environmental associations and they say that this leads to tumours or other very serious diseases.

I leave below a video to give you a better understanding!

I'll tell you the truth I didn't have the courage to go swimming and honestly I wasn't so attracted by this fake Caribbean sea However it is an interesting spot definitely worth visiting in Italy

Thank you for reading this article I hope you enjoyed it and that as usual it managed to introduce me to a lesser known part of my country.
