Yes friends you got it right the city of Pordenone has been invaded by giant animals, Pordenone is a city of 50,000 inhabitants located in Friuli Venezia Giulia and giant animals have appeared on the facades of the buildings.
These murals depicting giant animals were created by the artist Giulio Masieri, a very original way to redevelop some areas of the city of Pordenone.
The artist had already started his works in covid times by bringing huge snails and giant dogs to the walls of the buildings, but his artistic vein exploded right in the middle of a pandemic, because he decided to create these animals imagining their invasion in the deserted city. , to reclaim the spaces that human beings have left free because they are closed in their homes, during the pandemic.
The association of the Torre District, where most of the murals can be found, has created a mapping of all the giant animals in the city of Pordenone and you can find this on their Facebook page of the "Torre District" in order to give the possibility everyone to be able to find them especially when they come to visit the city of Pordenone.
Animals you can find all kinds from cats and dogs, there is also a goldfish with an eye that looks a bit sad and even there is a pair of barn owls of course even if in giant form.
So if you are on holiday between the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, you just have to take a trip to the beautiful Pordenone to visit these street art works that are becoming very fashionable lately.
I leave you the map below so you can better orient yourself and understand where Pordenone is.
