Borghetto sul Mincio is a fraction of the municipality of Valeggio sul Mincio, a town that gave birth to Ivana Spagna, a singer known all over the world.

A village that rises above the Mincio river has recently been included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy and with it retains a very fragile balance that has come down to the present day.

As I said to you here very in love come to hang their padlock it has become a bit the fashion of the last few years and this being a romantic place is very characteristic it has also become very popular with people.

Walking through these streets as well as being very romantic takes a dip in the past.

But when is the right time to visit Borghetto sul Mincio?

I advise you to visit it in spring or autumn because in summer the climate is too sultry.

At the end of the Borgo you will find a bridge from which you can take great photos of these houseboats on the Mincio River.

or if you are really romantic you can take your sweetheart to dinner or have an aperitif in these restaurants that float on the water.

I also wanted to remind all of you that valeggio-sul-mincio is also famous for the love knots practically of tortellini and a monument that was installed in the Borghetto sul Mincio park has been dedicated to this typical local dish.
