I wanted to put the photo you see on the cover because Soave, this village in the province of Verona, won the competition held on Rai 3 during the TV programme Kilimangiaro, making it the Borgo dei borghi 2022.

So in this article I want to share with you some photos that I took on Easter Day after spending time with my family to make this village even better known.

By the way, on Easter day we didn't know about this victory yet because the final was in the evening but they organised a beautiful market anyway to attract some people.

A big screen was already set up in the square to watch the final.

If you have the opportunity to visit this beautiful medieval town, I recommend that you go to this shop where you can find splendid souvenirs to take home or to give to someone.

This, in my opinion, is the highlight of the village, where the medieval era blends with the Venetian rule that was here, and below I leave you a video that I shot that starts here and goes up this road to the medieval castle.

What you see above in the photo is one of the four gates giving access to the medieval village, which is completely surrounded by walls.

Of course then I went to the sanctuary of the Madonna della bassanella which is another interesting point of the village to visit absolutely and here too leaves you below a video I made some time ago.

This is the oldest part of the village, the most historical part, and in my opinion the most beautiful spot for taking beautiful photos of the castle.

As well as the historical part of Soave, there is also a beautiful park where I was lucky enough to spend my childhood, where you can find places to picnic but also beautiful rides for your children to play in.
