Last week I went to the Lonigo agricultural fair that you were back after two years that it was no longer organized due to a pandemic and I will try to explore with you.
Before starting this journey, if you want more information on this town of almost 20,000 inhabitants in the province of Vicenza, I invite you to see the video I shot some time ago, I leave it below.
Think that the Lonigo fair was born about 536 years ago and at the beginning it was simply a horse fair because at the time there were no agricultural vehicles, this takes place in the racecourse park where each exhibitor tries to sell their own means of work.
I walked the main street where stalls selling food and clothes are usually set up but this time I was very disappointed because there were a lot less than 2 years ago and I couldn't understand why.
arrived in the fair field I started to turn between the various exhibitors to see what they were selling was the first thing I found they were lawnmowers but professional.
Naturalmente il mezzo che veniva venduto principalmente era il trattore, un mezzo veramente importante per l'agricoltura della zona limitrofa il paese di Lonigo.
There were all sorts from the smallest and cheapest to the larger ones that cost as much as € 100,000.
There was not a lot of crowds of people Probably because it was Saturday afternoon for sure on Sunday there is a lot more presence of people.
at every fair there is always the presence of these sellers of magic sponges that allow you to clean the windows of the house without leaving streaks.
Then I finally saw the demonstration of an automatic grape harvester that is often used in these parts as wine areas and it really impressed me for the size of this machine but especially for the fact that it joked at 360 ° about itself, a truly incredible thing.
People were really very interested in seeing this machine in action and this automatic means greatly speeds up the work of the farmer who otherwise would have to harvest grapes by hand.
Then I headed inside this tensile structure where another trade fair took place at the same time, that of the commercial activities adjacent to the town of Lonigo.
Inside you could really find everything from the seller of mattresses to the seller of household items but also stoves for heating. There was also an area for eating and tasting the typical products of the area.
In the end I came out of the tensile structure and I concluded my tour in the park seeing the last agricultural machines then I headed to my car to return home a bit disappointed by this fair because the exhibitors were very few.
I hope you liked this article especially for people who are passionate about agriculture, I will definitely bring other contents on events and events in my area.
