In this article I would like to take you to the discovery of this museum that unexpectedly struck me, because it was really well done and because I had to visit it for years but there was never an opportunity and sometimes when things get put off in time you always reserve some beautiful surprises.
This is the Achille forti modern art gallery which is practically located in Verona, and is housed in the Palazzo della Reason and this museum was created by the will of Achille forti who practically leaves the city of Verona most of his possessions and his own collection of art that he had made over the years dedicating this museum to the city.
I took advantage of the € 1 ticket to enter the museum, an offer that is always available on the first Sunday of each month until May while the entrance would have cost € 4 and in my opinion it is a very low price for the quality offer of the various works of art present in the museum.
This legacy of art made me reflect on the fact that in any case the wealthy families of a bygone era aimed to maintain art and culture over time, which unfortunately has been lost in the modern era.
From what I understood when visiting the museum in 2021, the gallery was renovated with a new exhibition itinerary and enriched by numerous works of art from the most famous Italian museums and in addition to this they managed to exhibit works that unfortunately lay in the museum's archives.
Unfortunately, the problem in Italy is that there are too many works of art that are held in archives because they cannot find the places where they can be exhibited.
