This is the very first time we’ve been to Taiwan Jiaoxi, one of the most well-known places for hot spring here in this country.

Using the Google Map, we planned our trip and all the destinations for their most famous local and traditional food. Follow all the Local Guide’s comments on Google, we came to this 30 years old traditional Taiwanese restaurant called Deyi Lou Restaurant, located in Taiwan Yilan County.

We’ve ordered their most famous dish of Cherry Duck, and it was being delivered in 4 different ways of traditional Chinese cooking style.

The roast Duck is delicious and memorable to us ! and the food quality is far much satisfying then their price. The portion of each and every dish is huge in terms of their size and you can even pick your own choice of cooking method with the Cherry Duck you ordered, e.g. 2-4 different ways of Traditional Chinese styled cooking.

We were originally planning to go to another highly rated Taiwanese restaurant for Cherry Duck, named Red Lantan, located in the Silk Palace Hotel in Jiaoxi. But just we didn’t made our reservation 2 days before, this Restaurant have put us on the waiting que for at least two hours and that’s why we decided to search on the Google Map again for a better choice with overall good comments and reasonable distance from where we are. Deyi Lou Restaurant appeared to be the top-rated Taiwanese restaurant for Cherry Duck with 2-4 ways of variety set with over 300 positive comments on Google.

Last but not least, it only charged at NT$1,600 for a Cherry Duck Set Meal whist we can only have the same amount and quality of food in HK at about NT$2,500.
