15 days ago, I was in the 'Solang Valley', where my friend and I Summit the Mount Friendship Peak in Alpine Style in just 31 hours. The altitude of the Friendship Peak is 5289 meters above sea level. In this panorama, there are lots of unnamed peaks of 6000 meters above, but still few peaks can be identified.

This photo is taken from the summit, in which the King of 'Lahaul Valley' is seen almost in the middle in the picture, whose height is 5870 meters. Located in Himachal Pradesh Lahaul is the place which is separated from the rest of the world due to heavy snowfall of 6 months of the year. The names of the remaining peaks in this mountain range are Mulkila (6517 meters), which is the crown of Jispa, Srilata (5547 meters) and Tent Peak (5580 meters) located on the 'Bada Shigari' mountain range.

Friendship is a non-technical Peak located between Dauladhar and Pir-Panjal mountain Range. The famous Rohtang Pass (3950m) is also located in this range, which is connecting Kullu valley to Lahaul valley.

'The Ghepan peak' is very famous in the local residents of Lahaul valley. The name of the peak is called Ghepan, after the name of King of Lahaul valley. Along with the temple of King Ghepan, worship of the peak of Ghepan is common here. Lahaul valley is the confluence of Hindus and Buddhist religion. There was one can see 5000 years old monasteries with the 6000-meter holy mountains.

Even today the worship of mountains, rivers, and fire on the holy land of the Himalayas is common. There is a holy river below the Ghepan peak, called 'Chandra River', the talks about the Chandra river can be heard throughout India. Hindu and Buddhist both worship and meditate there.

Enjoy the Holy view of Ghepan Peak.
