Hi friends,

This morning I put on my new trainers that I bought this week for a leisurely walk in the beautiful Marjane district here in Meknes, exactly on the road to Rabat. The air was mild, the sky a little hazy, and the atmosphere of spring was in the air. Nothing special at first, just a walk like I like. But then... the touch of spring is always there!

As soon as I took my first steps, my eyes were drawn to the bright colours peeking through the hedges, flowerbeds and little forgotten patches of greenery. Flowers. Everywhere. And as always, I pulled out my phone. My favourite reflex: capture what I find beautiful. A red rose, planted there like a declaration of love in the middle of the neighbourhood, stood before me. Right next to a damp pavement, it didn't seem to be afraid of the asphalt or passing cars. She touched me. There was a kind of silent resistance in her posture, a quiet, profound beauty!

A little further on, I was greeted by the bright colours of purple and yellow. African daisies, dandelions, flowers whose names I don't know but which I admire with the same respect. Their shapes, their hearts full of pollen, their petals perfectly unfurled... It was as if they were posing for me. And I, with my phone in hand, was happy. Happy to be able to freeze these little moments that most people pass by without even noticing.

What I love about nature is that it doesn't ask for anything. It simply gives. And that morning, it offered me a veritable painting of colours. I wasn't trying to take great professional photos, no. Just spontaneous shots. Just spontaneous shots, as I feel them. Because behind each image, there's an emotion, a moment, a little pause in time. Spring in Meknes is really special. The trees regain their foliage, the air smells of damp earth, and every street corner becomes a little ephemeral garden. It's not much, but for me it's precious. It's even vital. It's my daily joy: walking, observing and clicking.

See you soon, my friends!
