If you ever flew in to Barcelona and you had a window seat on the right side of the plane, you had an amazing view on to the city. Just before passing by the mountain Montjuïc, you are already quite low and you have a wonderful view at the great W hotel.
Just next to this iconic building of Barcelona is this hidden gem I want to let you know about.
Marina VELA
This brand new marina was just finished last year and has its doors open to the public.
That gives the great opportunity getting quite close to some amazing yards.
Crazy, but no-one really knows about this port / marina being open to the public. Every time we are there, we are almost alone and we see many people just turning around before entering the marina.
That unfortunate, because if you walk until the end of the marina, you have an amazing view on to Barcelona and the close by industrial port.
These amazing views you are seeing here are made from the end point of the marina and you can enjoy them with a cold beer sitting on the best tarrace of whole Barcelona.
This tarrace belongs to the gas station of marina VELA and you can buy cold beer and some snacks for almost nothing.
Just to give you an understanding, we paid for 2 beers and some chips, 3.75€.
Try to find that anywhere in Barcelona.
If you are ever for a visit Barcelona, plan some time to go there and enjoy the best terrace with the best views of Barcelona.
