Gone fishing in Sardinia - Ich war fischen in Sardinien

Wie mit @Muelli letztens angesprochen stand das Fischen noch auf dem Plan.

Und so ergab es sich, dass unser Nachbar hier in Sardinien mich zum Fischen mitgenommen hat. Prinzipiell dachte ich an sowas wie: „Mit dem Boot rausfahren, die Angeln ins Wasser halten und ein paar Fische ziehen.“

Was wir tatsächlich gemacht haben: Mit 6 Angeln am Boot befestigt vor der Küste kreuzen. Davon 4 Hochseeangeln und zwei normale.

Geangelt wurden die sogenannten Prädatoren/Fleischfresser (gli predatori auf italienisch).
Daher hatten wir künstliche Köder die wir an den Angeln hinter uns hergezogen haben.

Das Boot hat einen 40PS Yamaha Motor mit knapp 60PS. Der serienmäßig verbaute Restriktor im Ansaugtrakt ist Geschichte. Mit guten 5 Knoten sind wir also vor der Küste hin und her gekreuzt. Das ging von La Caletta bis nach Budoni und dann zurück an La Caletta vorbei bis nach Santa Lucia. Insgesamt waren wir ca. 6h unterwegs.

Hier mal ein paar Bilder um den Tag zu beschreiben:
Abfahrt war um 6 Uhr morgens. Kurz zuvor bin ich aufgestanden, habe mir einen Espresso gemacht und eine Formagelle gegessen. Ein süßes sardisches Gebäck, das mit Ricotta (Frischkäse) gemacht wird.

Kaffee muss so aussehen wir auf dem Foto.

Eine fast schwarze Flüssigkeit in der Konsistenz von Teer muss sich langsam ihren Weg in die Cafetiere bahnen. Nur dann, aber auch nur wirklich dann habe ich eine Chance innerhalb kurzer Zeit aus meinen Augen auch etwas zu sehen.

Für die Menschen in Deutschland: Das ist die Temperatur um 6 Uhr morgens. Und ich habe mir Gedanken gemacht, dass ich eine Jacke brauchen könnte. :-D

Nach einer kurzen Autofahrt von ca. 15min waren wir in La Caletta wo das Boot liegt.
Herrliche Stimmung am Morgen und absolute Ruhe.

In Schrittgeschwindigkeit sind wir langsam aus dem Hafen ausgelaufen und raus aufs Meer. Gibt es etwas schöneres als am frühen Morgen in absoluter Ruhe und perfekter sauberer Luft auf dem Meer zu sein? Der Mond über einem und der Sonnenaufgang der sich rotem Glühen ankündigt. Das Meer absolut glatt und ruhig.

Das Gian Carlo nicht so „nebenher“ fischt sondern das ganze schon einen professionellen Touch hat, wurde mir klar, als ich den sog. Traduttore (Übersetzer auf italienisch) oder schlicht das Echolot gesehen habe.

Die ganzen blauen Punkte sind übrigens Fische. Und teilweise waren da richtige Schwärme unter uns, die mehrere Meter breit waren.

Die Tiefe in der wir fischten lag zwischen 5 und 15 Meter. Das Wasser ist so klar, das man aus 5-6 Metern noch den Grund gesehen hat.

Und so haben dann nach den ersten Minuten auch schon die ersten Fische gebissen. Hier ein Foto von zwischendurch, das einen ersten Zwischenstand gibt. Insgesamt waren es 10 sog. Ricciole.

Auch bemerkenswert und gleichzeitig zur Vorsicht mahnend: Das Meer hat von absolut ruhig und glatt auf ordentlichen Wellengang innerhalb von 5 Minuten umgeschaltet.
Das Boot ist gut ausbalanciert und es bestand zu keinem Zeitpunkt Gefahr. Jedoch war es schon bemerkenswert, dass das Boot zuerst ruhig auf dem Wasser lag und sich dann mit über 1,5m hohen Wellen ordentlich hebt und senkt und kränkt. Neben uns sind dann auch die anderen kleinen Fischerboote alle wieder in den Hafen zurück gefahren.
Gegen Mittag sind wir dann mit 10 Fischen als Beute zurück in den Hafen gelaufen.

Gian Carlo war so lieb und hatte mir die Fische ausgenommen, da ich das noch nicht gemacht hatte. Das steht noch auf dem Plan fürs nächste Mal. Prinzipiell habe ich damit kein Problem, da ich schon kleinere Fische selbst ausgenommen habe.
Und am frühen Abend hat er mir dann die Fische gegeben und ich habe sie noch am selben Abend in der Pfanne gemacht und mich gefreut wie ein kleines Kind.
Die Zubereitung der Fische mache ich in einem separaten Post. Ich habe so viele Fotos das der Beitrag hier ca. 20 Fotos haben würde. Das ist einfach zu viel und so kann ich euch mit zwei separaten Beiträgen unterhalten.

As with @Muelli recently mentioned, fishing was still on the agenda.

And so it happened that our neighbour here in Sardinia took me fishing. In principle, I thought of something like: "Going out by boat, keeping the fish in the water and pulling some fish".

What we actually did: *Cruising off the coast with 6 hinges attached to the boat. Of it 4 deep sea fishing and two normal ones.

Fished were the so-called predators (gli predatori in Italian).
Therefore we had artificial baits which we pulled on the hinges behind us.

The boat has a 40hp Yamaha engine with almost 60hp. The standard built in restrictor in the intake tract is history. With a good 5 knots we crossed back and forth off the coast. That went from La Caletta to Budoni and then back to La Caletta past to Santa Lucia. Altogether we were approx. 6h on the way.

Departure was at 6 o'clock in the morning. Shortly before I got up, made myself an espresso and ate a formagelle. A sweet Sardinian pastry made with ricotta (cream cheese).

An almost black liquid with the consistency of tar must slowly make its way into the cafe animals. Only then, but only really then, do I have a chance to see something out of my eyes within a short time.

For the people in Germany: That is the temperature at 6 o'clock in the morning. And I thought that I could use a jacket. :-D

After a short drive of about 15min we were in La Caletta where the boat is located.
Wonderful atmosphere in the morning and absolute silence.

At walking speed we slowly left the harbour and went out to sea. Is there anything more beautiful than being on the sea in the early morning in absolute silence and perfect clean air? The moon above you and the sunrise announcing red glow. The sea is absolutely smooth and calm.

The fact that Gian Carlo doesn't fish so "on the side" but already has a professional touch became clear to me when I saw the so-called Traduttore (translator in Italian) or simply the echo sounder.

All those blue dots are fish, by the way. And partly there were real shoals among us, which were several meters wide.

The depth at which we fished was between 5 and 15 meters. The water is so clear that we could see the bottom from 5-6 meters.

Also remarkable and at the same time warning to be careful: the sea has switched from absolutely calm and smooth to orderly swell within 5 minutes.
The boat is well balanced and there was no danger at any time. However, it was remarkable that the boat first lay quietly on the water and then lifts and lowers itself with waves over 1.5m high. Next to us all the other small fishing boats went back to the harbour.
Around noon we went back to the harbour with 10 fish as prey.

Gian Carlo was so sweet and had cleaned the fish for me, because I had not done that yet. That is still on the plan for the next time. In principle I have no problem with that, as I have already gutted smaller fish myself.
And in the early evening he gave me the fish and that same evening I made them in the pan and enjoyed them like a little child.
I prepare the fish in a separate post. I have so many photos that the post here would have about 20 photos. This is just too much and so I can entertain you with two separate contributions.
