This morning started of pretty early for me normally have i have a lazy Wednesday morning but i had a few personal chores to take care of so up early early with a cup of coffee on my balcony and good morning Bangkok it was a beautiful blue sky and the moon was still making it's way home.
I made my way to the Skytrain and took the train towards the Chao Phraya River there is a express service at that stop like FedEx were i had to sent a parcel to a friend.
Doing that i then jumped back onto the Skytrain again and headed the opposite direction to the other side of the city to a shopping mall called Siam Paragon one of the mother malls in Bangkok i had to change my plan on my mobile phone needed extra data.
After successfully changing my plan on my mobile phone and getting a cheaper and better deal with extra data i starting walking towards another shopping complex which is about 2 km from the Siam Paragon shopping mall on the way i come across a couple of exotic statues that were not here before new statues appear quite often around Bangkok city.
I was now in the suburb of Chit Lom shopping area where there are quite a few famous and huge shopping malls one called Central World and the other Gayson Shopping mall i enter into Gayson Mall because i had a gold ring i needed to pick up from there which i had left there for repairs last week.
Gayson Mall is a pretty high end mall with lots of brand name outlets and it also has a fantastic wine store with wines from all around the world and some amazing wine glasses you can buy.
By this time it was lunch time i hadn't had breakfast so i decided to walk up further were i knew there was outdoor vendors with great food that i could sit comfortably and enjoy.
Chicken with veggies and Beef Black Bean sauce with capsicums and fried onions did me fine.
After that energizing lunch i needed to walk to digest , there are many clothing markets in this area and i needed a couple of new T-Shirts so of i go walking to the markets there are a couple of famous skyscrapers like this one call the Bio Tower which is the second tallest skyscraper in Bangkok City.
After buying a couple of T-Shirts it was getting to peak hour so i decided to head back to the Skytrain if you hang around till late afternoon in the city the Skytrains get absolutely packed like sardine cans with all the office workers commuting back home it can be a very uncomfortable ride home.
Already the traffic was building up in the city but i was timimg well and still time to get out of the city before it became a real nightmare.
Got everything done that i needed to do had a great walk sight seeing around Bangkok city and home in time to have my glass of red wine on my balcony and enjoy my beautiful sunset.
A beautiful day in the city a great sunset to come home to and pleasant peaceful evening on my third glass of red wine and what more could i ask for was just the perfect @wednesdaywalk.
Thank you @tattoodjay for #wednesdaywalk challenge it's certainly giving me more of a boost to get out there and see the beautiful things around us.
This is the area i was in where all the main shopping malls are if your ever in Bangkok city this is the area to visit you will enjoy your shopping in this area it's all walking distance from mall to mall.
