Market's in Bangkok are endless i love all varieties of market's and i will spend hours in market's not necessarily to buy anything but that all depends what really attract my attention but i would say going to a vintage market for me can be very dangerous because there are always some many items that will attract my attention as probably most of you would agree.
This Vintage Flea Market is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, vendors display tons of Thai and foreign vintage, secondhand and antique goods till 10 pm and today been Saturday i decided to visit the Chatuchak Playground Vintage Flea Market to take you back in time so walk along with me.
This vintage market seem to have so many interesting items that i really didn't know what to look at next everything was just so fascinating from from knick-knacks like toys, glassware, electronics, vinyl, old turntable stereos and game players to large scale vintage furniture.
Chatuchak Weekend Market has reached a landmark status as a must visit place for tourists these markets cover a area of 35 acres and this Vintage Playground market is just another market included within this large area of markets you could spend days browsing this large area of different markets.
HotWheels now these little match box cars i have been collecting them as a kid to see them here on display and for sale just got adrenaline going i just need to check what maybe i don't have in my set and i will be back here next weekend...lol :)
Even ET was here now that definitely brings back some good memories i remember ET at the cinemas with my son.
It was absolutely amazing what i was seeing at this vintage market some of these items i have never seen till now i thought i had seen it all we just see and learn everyday definitely feeling like i am traveling in a time machine going back in time and all so educational.
All the old film cameras and still all in good order love these old school cameras.
Thailand does have a sense of humor check out these characters....lol :)
Love these old chandeliers still so classy and the coke signs which are worth a future in some countries as collectors items.
I recommend if your ever in Bangkok try and squeeze in a weekend to visit Chatuchak Weekend Markets you will not be disappointed.
