Last Wednesday when i was out on my walk i discovered a new park in Bangkok called Chatuchak Park and because i had discovered this park later that afternoon i didn't get to walk all around this lush green flower park so i decided to go back there again today because i did notice some beautiful boulders around the park and i wanted to go back and photography these boulders for the lovely @shasta for her #bouldersunday challenge she runs every week so here you are some lovely boulders for you @shasta
On the day i was at this park i had enter the park from the entrance gate at the far end of this park it would say it's about 5 km in length this park so this time i entered the park from the other end the part i hadn't seen.
After i had seen and photograph enough boulders for @shasta i decided to exit the park and move on to the other side of the park where i had noticed an older suburban of Bangkok which i wanted to check out.
Older suburbs of Bangkok always intrigue me i love to see the old culture the history of the country and how the people go about there daily lives around these older parts of Bangkok.
Now i have switch this post to Black and White because i feel it will give you a better vibe of the old suburb and looks more realistic.
Some of these old wooden houses date back more then a hundred years some of these houses i noticed people still living in them probably handed down from there grand parents but some i could see were abandon but someone was sitting on some good real estate.
Why i say good real estate is because these houses sit in the middle of a commercial business area so one day someone will be building over all these once beautiful traditional house which will be a real shame.
It was such a hot day today walking around that even my Samsung phone got over heated and started taking all these weird over exposed photos which i have never seen happen before but they actually didn't look to bad here are some more of those over heated photos...lol...quite amazing actually.
As i got further up this long straight bushy road which i would say was about 3 km long , about half way up this road was what seem to be a car cemetery all these cars just left on the side of this road it actually blended in well with the surrounding.
By now i was almost at the end of this long stretch of road and had no idea were i was , i was just following google map which said it was going to lead me back to the Skytrain were i originally started my walk from.
Almost at the end of this road now which i found the name of this road it's called Kamphaeng Phet 3 and at the end of this road is Kamphaeng Phet 2 which will lead me back to the Skytrain.
I needed to take a break on this convenient sofa on the side of the road and give my feet a bit of a massage before i made my 5 km walk back to the Skytrain along this concrete tunnel road.
And as i got to the end of this concrete jungle road i bought myself a new pair of shoes because after my two 15 km walks this week i needed a new pair...lol :)
This is the area i was in if you like to go and see a bit of the old culture mixed with the new lots of cheap village Thai food if you want to stop along that road for a feed.
