Another beautiful sunny hot day in Bangkok i looked over my balcony and said to myself if i go out in that heat right now i am going to melt so i decided to give my apartment a clean up with the air-conditioning on full speed i was going to wait till it got a bit cooler and head out later in the after with no plan really to where i was going to go but then at about 4.30 pm an friend called me up and asked me if i wanted to join him , his wife and some other friends to visit the MahaNakhon Tower in Bangkok as he had a spare ticket...well i jumped at that.
We all met at the Tower about 6 pm the sun was still out but not as hot was just perfect after taking a couple of photos in front of this magnificent tower we made our way inside where we had some photos taken by the staff.
Inside the lift they have TV screens all round with a documentary of the tower as your powering up to 314 meters high.
It is Thailand’s fastest video-themed elevator reaching the 74th floor in 50 seconds now that's fast i could feel the blood rushing to the head..lol :)
The MahaNakhon Tower is a skyscraper in the Silom central business district of Bangkok, Thailand. It was officially opened in December 2016 and is the tallest skyscaper in Thailand standing at a height of 314 meters with 78 floors and an 360 degree Observation Deck which is just breathtaking views and no place to be if your scared of heights believe me you can actually feel the tower swaying.
We actually call this cubic masterpiece twist the lego building with a few pieces missing is what we have nick-named this tower. The tower consists a shopping mall , fine dining restaurants , office spaces and Bangkok's first Ritz Carlton Hotel with ultra modern apartments with the best views in town.
Even the rest rooms have great city views to enjoy while your doing your business...lol :)
Around the observation deck you have seating areas where you can enjoy a cocktail from the bar or just sit on the observation steps over looking the views directly in front of you.
In all the time i have been in Bangkok this has got to be the best i have seen Bangkok by day or night stretching as far as your human eye can see.
Another highlight of this tower was the the glass tray floor standing on it was something really freaky first time i have even done this in my life standing on a glass tray was i mad at the height of 310 meters above the ground level that did get the heart pumping but what a experience to have done so.
It doesn't matter from what angle you look at this Bangkok city known as the "City of Angels" it's just as beautiful as a Angel.
The night views from up here are just outstanding and romantic if you want to impress your lady this is the place to bring her it will be a night never forgotten.

And when you are finished taking in all those breathtaking views you take the fastest video-themed elevator down to the 4th floor and from the 4th floor to the 1st floor you have got four floors of exclusive high end shops of duty free shopping if you wish.
So for a Sunday that wasn't planned it certainly turned out to be one amazing day that will stay in my memory bank forever.
