Mooching about the former DDR, last September, I was fortunate to climb through the windows of several former military camp buildings and hospitals in and around greater Berlin.
All empty and abandoned since the late 80’s; the collapse of the Eastern Bloc. So I thought I would share with you these wonderful places, bogs, baths, basins. (the full explores have been published previously in the Urban Exploration Community).
A couple of free standing baths, these were found in a former TB Sanatorium
Baths built to last, that with a bit of elbow grease and a bucket of bleach would look good in any yuppies des res.
Communal wash basins for the conscripts of the Russian armed forces......
......squat and squit, no time to sit.
Unless of course you are officer material then no expense spared, even raised so you can gaze out of the window, pooping to your hearts content.
The height of decadence champagne on the crapper.
Privacy comes at a premium in these places.
