We're currently traveling now to the south of the Philippines to attend an annual convention. So I will have a limited interaction with my Steemit friends.
Our travel will take us 16 hours to reach our destination--Davao City (13 hours by land, and 3 hours in the ferry). As some may not know yet, Philippines is an archipelago, we need to ride a roll-on-roll-off ferry to traverse across the country. Coming off the ferry from Liloan, Leyte to Lipata, Surigao, we decided to rest a bit in Surigao so that we will not have to travel at night (we still have 6 hours to drive).
Our wandering brought us to one of the resorts in Surigao. I was frustrated because we did not catch the sunset, it was already dark when we arrived. I cannot help but imagine how beautiful it would be to watch the sunset there. But unfortunately, we missed it. Anyhow, the still, warm waters are inviting. And instead of the sun, there was the moon, so beautifully shining on us in the velvet skies!
The stones here are quite remarkable too. It's very smooth and most are flat! So we enjoyed playing with it. Each one of us created something with our imagination. And these ones are my favorite:
