It has always been an amazing experience to shoot with Rajat Malakar da. It was quite an adventure and we sure had a lot of fun during the shoot of this particular frame. We shot this just a day before the last day of our "Astro Landscape Workshop."

I had identified the rock from a hilltop and it appealed to me so much that I instantly requested everyone to go there to shoot at midnight. Unfortunately, since it was an uphill trek of 2 km that had to be covered during midnight, no one agreed to it. Nonetheless, I, Rajat da, and Soham Sam Roy made it to the location after hiking at 2AM at midnight. Although we had scouted the route during the daytime but we had to face a lot of difficulties identifying the proper route in the pitch darkness of the night. After arriving at the place we both felt a little scared as it was quite creepy. We then set our cameras and started to shoot. Looking at the picture now I must say that the journey to the "Valley of Dead" was worthwhile and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Join us and be part of such Astro Adventure. We still have 2 seats for the Spiti Astro landscape Workshop  and registration for the October Singalila Astro landscape Workshop will start soon.
