A friend of ours from Valencia bought a house with her family in Agres and she invited to us come for a visit on this fall day. The car ride from Valencia to Agres went quick and it was fun to see the landscape change along the way.

Once we arrived in the town, we were covered in fog - nothing better in that case to first stop in the local bakery to pick up some host pastries. We then set out to explore. We loved seeing these kids playing Pilota - a ball game played by hand and in the streets. Other highlights were the fountains, the laundry washing hut and the monastery higher up in the mountains.
