Miami Beach is a mecca for sun and beach goers. The virus has been a difficult pill for many tourist areas to swallow. Sun rises in these areas are spectacular and the beach hotels and restaurants have all been waiting for summer ending for this lockdown to end.
If you love photography, you cannot help but come away with some beautiful sun rises, birds or other shots.
It's easy to forget about all photos as well and just be quiet with nature and observe the abundant wildlife.
Slowly we see social distancing ending and families again enjoying their "private party" on the beach. Some areas are not allowing this yet but it's changing slowly.
I think the birds actually enjoy humans on the beach as they enjoy some of the lunch or food scraps left.
If you love boating, you love this area. You enjoy the wind in your hair or fishing then it has been a hard adjustment to your normal hobbies.
Let's not forget that many small companies make their money on the water with fishing tours or fishing in general. They are part of the economy that has been hit hardest.
Those days of being of spending time with friends and family outdoors can't come soon enough. These are memories that last a life time.
The tourist bus business was abandoned for weeks. It's days away from restarting, but will it ever be the same? Will people be jumping on planes as much? We will see soon.
Miami Beach can be a marker used for many tourist destinations. Those that live off the global traveler are anxious for summer to come. We can pray that this changes in May and slowly we can get back to some level of normal life again. We pray for all those affected by this terrible pandemic.
