The light of Central Plaza Mall in Bangkok Thailand is ever changing, and I could ride the escalators for hours gawking at it. No shopping occurs when this show is going on.
The glowing lights change and fade in and out. Then they will suddenly pop into a new configuration and start the fading colors again.
I have ten floors to ride up and down and have done it more than once or twenty times. My ex-husband used to say I was the cheapest date he ever had, and I thought of him while on this thrill ride a few times each year.
Does this mall have any stores? Maybe, but I have never shopped in one. I only came here for the money changer and the escalator. After I got my cash changed for a Visa trip, I would ride and hang over the side for a bit. Looking up from the bottom is just as fun as looking down from the top. Good times!
Loving the guy with the clear cell phone in this pic. Too bad I am not Blade Runner so we could read it.
It’s all about Bangkok for me this week, as I will be there again for STEEMFest next week. I’m not sure if I will get to this mall, but Bangkok is sure to delight no matter what!
I used a Canon ELPH160 point and shoot camera for this photo.
This post is my first of three entries for the @ntopaz Art of Light Contest. You can enter your light photos too. The contest runs until October 31, so you have a few days left to post.
