Three months ago I had the opportunity to visit the biggest flea market of Eastern Europe, which is situated in Negreni, Romania. Read the first part of my post if you have missed The Biggest Flea Market Of Eastern Europe.

This small and famous village is situated on the E60 road, approximately 10 km from Piatra Craiului.

This market was recognized in 1805 but it started in the middle ages, so it's the oldest market of Transylvania.

You can find everything here, literally everything, from old and antique furniture to spoons, clothes, china, coins, books, paintings, postcards, shoes, tools, folk costumes, you name it. All you need is a lot of money and a few days to visit the whole market. These products are not cheap and the market is huge.

If you're a collector and hasn't been to this market, you're not a real collector they say. My brother is a collector and it was his first time in October. I was just assisting him because this visit wasn't planned. We were driving home from Hungary and the place was in out way, so stopping was a must. One hour, that's all we had, so we had to move fast.

The beauty of the market is that you can find everything, you just have to be careful not to pay too much. Just because a product is old, that doesn't mean it's valuable as well :) If those little vases are crystal, then it's fine, otherwise you can end up paying ten times the value of it.

I believe this bench is handmade, hand carved. It's very rustic and beautiful, I can imagine a room with furniture like this. Those two chairs in front of it look great as well.

This market was a huge challenge for me. I knew our time is limited, so I wanted to help my brother locate the postcards he was interested in but also wanted to snap as many photos as I could because once a Steemian, always a Steemian and this is a great occasion to capture something I can post about.

So after I uploaded the photos to my computer, the fun began, more precisely I tried to identify things on the photo. Here for example I can see some bells, some recipients you can crush garlic and herbs in (but I don't know how you say that in English), some spoons and the rest is mystery. If you recognize the others, let me know.

Some stones, maybe valuable, maybe not, some rusty tools, and old scale, a little cauldron and I see the lower part of a petroleum lamp, the glass part is most likely broken.

Boxes full of treasure. The more I look at these photos, the more I want a wooden wall clock. The problem is, i don't want to pay a fortune for it :)

Mugs, plates and all kind of kitchen accessories made of ceramics, porcelain, copper, glass and who know.

These are porcelain ornaments I would run as far as possible from, this is not my style but others might like it.

Let's see what I can identify here. I can see two wine press, a yoke, a coat hanger made of wood, some boots, a piece of a Singer sawing machine and so on.

When you see so many old things in one place, you think of those days when these were in use, every day.

This is my contribution to #marketfriday, hosted by our lovely Denise, @dswigle.
