A busy year, a lot of obligations and a big rush at work - are reason enough to plan a short spring break.
We only had one wish.
To find a destination near the sea, where it is warm and has a point where we can indulge in mediation.

The choice fell on Cyprus and the Cape Greco National Park near Aiya Napa.

The fact that this location is located in the immediate vicinity of a large tourist place meant that a large crowd of tourists could be expected, and that's why I decided to visit Cape Greco by car, and not by tourist yachts and ships that do mass tourism.
A large number of tourists come on boats with loud music, jump off the boats and yachts and swim in the immediate vicinity of the rocks.

Unskilled tourists climb onto the rocks and jump from them into the sea...

I had no intention of swimming on this shore, nor of challenging fate and climbing on slippery rocks.
I was just looking for that one point where I could sink into my thoughts, without noise, shouting and loud music.
On these beautiful rocks, such a position could not be found.
The most interesting thing I found near the very visited rocks were the remains of small ponds, in which, due to the high temperature, the sea water evaporated and salt remained in the depressions.

After we took a couple of photos near the rocks (one of them, with a scarf, could be placed in a photography community), we decided to climb to the highest point of Cape Greko and if we didn't find that one point for meditation, we will take some pictures and go back to the hotel.

Luckily for us, when we got to the top, it wasn't too crowded.

There were several free benches where we took a break and enjoyed the wonderful panoramic view.

When I overheated in the strong spring sun, I took a scarf and made a shade over my head.
The photo that was taken then is my favorite from Cape Greco.

As the wind carried the scarf over my head and made it seem light and fluffy, so from my head, when I sat down on the edge of the rock and my gaze was lost on the horizon, all my heavy thoughts flew away and I gave myself up to enjoying the view of open sea.

Boats full of tourists stop at another place, to the miraculous Ayioi Anargiroi church, which has a miraculous source of healing water in the rocks on which it was built.

Tourists, like on the Capo Greco rocks, come to this church by boat. They jump off the rocks and bathe, but we took the opportunity to pray and visit the spring in the rock.

This spring dries up in the summer, but clear traces of healing water can be seen on the rock in the cave.

Here, too, I found a lot of salt from evaporated seawater in the hollows in the rocks.

When it was time for us to return, I found another spot for a short break (more out of a desire to observe the sea, than a need to rest 🙂).
