In the video I am chatting with you (in Spanish) while I walk from the end of the port of Getaria to Nagusia Kalea street, the main street of Getaria and full of pintxo bars with several awards in international guides such as Repsol or Michelin guides.

Passing through the Katrapona square, where I will finally eat (I will show you in another video) in one of the best restaurants in Getaria, we have to cross the arch of the Gothic-style church of San Salvador, which dates back to the 14th century and which It was declared a National Monument.

Both in this famous street and in the Calle Mayor, the gastronomic offer is very diverse and whichever place you choose to have the famous Getaria Txakoli wine sided with wide diversity of pintxos, you won't fail.

Even so, some of the most recommended pintxo bars in these streets are: Politena, Maruka, Kano Txiki, Mahasti, Itxaspe, Getaka, Giroa and Iribar.

In the culture of the Basque Country, eating is a whole social experience and if it's pintxos, much better; that's why its variety and quality is incomparable and one of the best in the world, with an unbeatable quality/price ratio.
