Hello friends, I hope you are doing well!
Today I am going to share with you a little unusual article, since I always focus on street photography and other genres. I want to try to do something different in relation to my content, vary a little and show other things about Buenos Aires, I will try to take my camera everywhere to make this possible.
It is true that the city is beautiful for photography but there is too much to show, gastronomy is part of this and so are the emblematic places.
I have visited many places, formal and informal restaurants and I have tasted a lot of Argentine cuisine and I have not had the initiative to share it, I will make a change and I will begin to do so as much as possible.
Months ago my son was asking us to visit a place where we pass very often. Every time we walked there, he was very struck by the aesthetics and what they sell there.
The place is called TACCOFF, It's located in the Palermo neighborhood and is a completely gluten-free coffee and restaurant.
The Place
We decided to spend an afternoon getting to know this place and trying some of the dishes they sell, it was also a good opportunity to taste gluten-free food and have a good coffee, It's always a good time for a good coffee, isn't it?
We really liked the decoration of the place, quite minimalist I would say. The seats reminded me of the restaurants or coffee shops that I see on TV 😅 in American movies, very comfortable by the way. There was a lot of vegetation on all the walls and corners of the place, very soft colors on the walls, really a warm atmosphere.
Before taking these photos I asked permission from one of the waiters and the bar managers and they friendly accepted.
Something that caught my attention is that the place was not very full, then I thought it was because of the time but it must also have been because it is not a place that everyone would visit.
Not everyone looks for a gluten-free place to enjoy a snack or have a coffee, I think only people who are medicated and cannot consume gluten do it.
Many people would be surprised to know how harmful gluten is to the body. Eating healthy can be expensive at times, but there are ways to do it.
The restaurant, in addition to selling gluten-free products, also sells vegan products, it is a good option for this type of customers.
The small details of the place are very cozy, the lighting was not very strong, perhaps dim, which makes it a more pleasant atmosphere.
The Food.
What we ordered when we arrived was undoubtedly two coffees, CAPUCCINO and MOKACCINO, the taste was incredibly beautiful 😂 I'm a coffee fan and I'm always trying everything everywhere. Meanwhile we looked at the menu options to order something to eat. The menu was quite extensive, many dishes, desserts, main meals and drinks.
We chose a couple of Sandwiches: "Avocado Toast with Egg", The ingredients were vegan bread toasted with olive, guacamole, arugula, cherry tomatoes and eggs. An explosion of flavor as I say hahaha it's incredible how just one piece of toast can leave you satisfied, because it's really not the quantity but the ingredients.
It was really delicious.
For dessert we ordered a pistachio cake with red berries, a couple of Macarons and a vanilla Milkshake for the boy. The portions are very generous, so it could be shared between two, which is what we did.
Before we left I took a few more photos of the other desserts and cakes they had on display. It is definitely a place that I would recommend visiting if you ever come to Buenos Aires, It's not cheap, it's not that expensive either but I think it's worth it.
I hope you enjoyed this gastronomic article from TACCOFF in the Palermo neighborhood.
Have a good weekend.
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
