Finally I have been lucky to find street art outside the capital Port Louis, here in Mauritius. I took the bus to Pamplemousses, a town in the northern part of the island. The plan was to walk a few kilometers to The Old Powder Mill in the outskirts of town. I passes a school, with beautifully painted murals on the wall.
Unfortunately, parts of the kwall are covered by grass and vegetation. There are also a couple of large rocks. But, you can clearly see that the theme is tropical marine wildlife. The last one shows deer, but deers are also found on the island. I walked past another wall near the school, where I see there will be more. It looks unfinished and no one was working on it, but if I pass by again, I'll check to see if they're finished.
