This gesture

The history of the doll fountain

The #Puppenbrunnen in Aachen, a town in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, was created in 1975 by the Aachen sculptor Bonifatius Stirnberg

The fountain is located on Krämerstraße, the connection between the cathedral where Charlemagne was staying and the town hall of the city of Aachen. It was donated by the Aachener Bank and consists of various dolls with movable joints.
