Hello dear connoisseurs,
today I will show you a Café Restaurant that is located in a Garden Center. It may sound a bit unusual, but it is always very well attended and the quality offered is excellent.
The Kiefl Garden Center Café Restaurant is hidden in the Würmtal outside of Gauting and is really a little insider tip.
A few years ago, one could only meet Gauting citizens there, but today, even the people from Munich go there to visit the café before or after buying garden plants.
Even the Sunday excursion to the Würm valley often starts for many excursionists in the Kiefl Café Restaurant, because on Sunday there is an overwhelming breakfast selection.
The Kiefl Café Restaurant opens every day at 9:00 am. You can have breakfast there until midday. A normal breakfast is available from € 5.90, the Italian breakfast for € 10.50 and the Delüx breakfast for 2 people is available for € 34. Of course, everyone can also put together their own individual breakfast.
During lunchtime soups are offered from € 5.50, pasta for € 11.50, Wiener Schnitzel for € 18.90 or Curry Sausage for € 7.90. A daily changing menu of the day with another 10 dishes rounds off the lunch offer.
The pure café and cake offer is available all day from 9.00 to 18.00. There are homemade cakes and tarts from our own pastry shop. Great importance is attached to fresh preparation without artificial additives. You will not find finished products there.
The cakes can also be ordered for special occasions, such as wedding cakes.
We want to buy a plant for my mother's living room today and take a break with coffee before we enter the huge garden centre.
Here now our small selection for coffee. Of course, as always, my favorite dish is the pretzel with butter.
But there is also something sweet, a Topfenstrudel. There would have been a vanilla sauce with it, but my mother had renounced it.
The Topfenstrudel comes originally from Austria and Hungary. It is related to the apple strudel, only that the Topfenstrudel is filled with curd cheese.
Of course I don't want to withhold the pictures from the garden center and therefore I take you on a little tour through the garden center. If you have seen the pictures, you know why so many people come here.
As you can already see on the first pictures there are not only plants and flowers.
Because it is Christmas, there are of course many decoration articles for it.
If someone wants to give away a cactus for Christmas, you will find that here too.
