I was on a business trip to Europe and I had a plan going on in the back of my mind, I was free for two days and I had always dreamt of visiting Amsterdam once in my life, now I got the opportunity to visit a living heaven beauty on earth, so I didn't let the opportunity slip through my hands and packed my bags for Amsterdam.

Like a dream

The Hotel

Then I found the hotel I was looking for and booked a decent room, I specially asked for a room with a lake view from the window and the receptionist agreed, she was so nice and kind to me, the servant picked up my bags and showed me the was to the hotel room, I entered the room and gave a tip to the servant thanking him for his service, It was a nice decent luxurious room like I see in the movies of James bond, I was thrilled with joy that this was actually happening, I decided to take a shower first and stay in the room till evening then go out for city exploration.

The Restaurant

I was hungry after a nice warm bath, so I changed my clothes, locked the room and went downstairs for the hotel restaurant, the receptionist showed me the way to the restaurant, the restaurant was a complete fine-dining one, I took a seat in the corner by the glass to have a perfect city view and ordered the chef's special, after sometime whil I was clicking pictures and admiring the view, he bought a dish with few strawberries in it

and served my with gratitude. People around here know how to treat their tourists, they are so gentle and kind. After having my breakfast I called the chef and admired his dish, it was so delicious like the sparkling stars in my mouth.

Back to the room

After a tummy full breakfast I went back to the room and called few of my close friends telling them that I am in Amsterdam.
