Hello Fellow Steemians
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday

After having breakfast at Key Monastery, we headed towards our next destination "Chandartaal Lake" which was above 50 kms.

Chandartaal Lake was the most awaited destination of the entire trip.
But the journey from Key Monastery to Chandartaal Lake was spell bounding.

We came across very different types of sand dunes and landscapes.
With every mile we covered we witnessed totally different form of desserted mountains.

The road trip came with various adventures, stunning landscapes, beautiful villages, monasteries, astonishing night sky, deadliest landslides and the new bridge called Chicham Bridge.

Chicham Bridge is the highest bridge of Asia. The bridge is situated above a deep gorge about 4145 meters above sea level. It is buils recently connecting Chicham village with Kaza.

Earlier peolpe used to go from village called Rangrik with was a very long way.
It took 2-3 hours to reach Chicham village from Kibber.
But from past 8-9 year natives started using the ropeway.
To go by the ropeway one has to pull the rope by his own to reach at the other end, which was quite risky.
Imagine something going wrong and nobody to help you around while one is still dangling thousands meters high up in the sky above the gorge.

But Chicham Bridge has shorten the path from Kibber to Chicham.
Earlier Kibber was the last motorable village but now Komic has become the last motorable village.

We spend sometimeover the bridge, clicked photographs and made videos.

Chicham Bridge was not on our site seeing list but this is now one of the most astounishing site of our Spiti trip.

The bridge is a beautiful piece of engineering and when the mystic nature is combined with a man made art, then the view is something which leaves everyone speechless.
