Good Evening, I hope you are having a wonderful time !!!
Today, I am back with another post of a famous hill station of India, the name of this awesome station is Manali. It is a resort town nestled in the Himalayas near Kullu Valley and is about 250 Kilometers from State capital that is Shimla, 300 Kilometers from Chandigarh and 550 Kilometers from captial of India that is New Delhi. Manali is a popular tourist destination which is situated at an altitude of 2,050 meters above the sea level and is the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti district as well as Leh.
Temperature of this amazing hill station can drop below -6°C in winters and stays between 15°C - 20°C in summers.
There are so many places to visit near Manali though I have visited only a few but the list is huge and it includes:
- Mighty Rohtang Pass at an altitude of 4,000 meters above sea level.
- Beas Kund which is the origin of river Beas.
- Hadimba Temple which is the ancient cave temple.
- Jogini Waterfalls.
- Solang Valley.
I visited Manali earlier this year in the starting of March because the snow was in forecast and I experienced first live snowfall of my life. It was a two day trip and I didnt get chance to explore many places near Manali, but snowfall made my trip full of joy.
If you wanna use my photographs feel free to use them but do give me the credits I will be extremely happy.
I will end up here and will be back soon with next post.
Till then
Keep Steeming.
See Ya
