Monument in honor of the running of the bulls of San Fermin: Great claim of the city with the festivities at the beginning of the month of July.

One feels panic just by looking at the sculpture. But hundreds of people run in front of the bulls during the first seven days of July in the early morning.

Castle Square: Center of Pamplona. A very coquettish square from which depart several narrow streets with a lot of cultural and gastronomic life.

Navarre in the Middle Ages was an independent kingdom of the crown of Aragon and Castile that formed the germ of what is now Spain. Carlos III (The Noble) was one of its most representative kings.

My entry to the shadow contest that @melinda010100 hosts every week. I hid behind the statue to get the photo I wanted to have a good entry to the contest.

I then visited several places in the center. But one that I really liked to visit was the wall that enclosed the city in the middle ages. Very well preserved

Once inside the walled area, this small hermitage with a tree beside it had something special to the human eye. Once edited in black and white I liked the photo so much that I couldn't resist sharing it now.

Hi,

I arrived a few hours ago in Pamplona. City known worldwide for the running of the bulls in its streets with big bulls running behind the runners to the bullring.

I have made a wide route through the center of the city, having a second stop on my route in the Plaza del Castillo.

Very nice square in which at one of the entrances there is a statue of King Carlos III of Navarra.

The afternoon was not very sunny, but enough for me to realize that the projection of the shadow was perfect on the ground.

So I stood behind the statue, the sun clouded over and after waiting a few minutes I got the photo I needed to participate with what I consider a good entry to the contest.

Happy, I continued walking through the center of the city. Very beautiful and worth visiting and not only for the bulls but for its historical richness.

Best regards.
