This is my entry for the @tattoodjay's Wednesday walk challenge.
Today I publish the last story in this winter season about winter walks through the pine forest. Because the snow finally melted and we stopped driving to the forest.
This walk took place on March 31st. By this time there were already warm days and there was already much less snow in the city. On the roads the snow almost melted.
But there was still snow in the forest. We counted on it.
At the very beginning of the walk at the entrance to the forest, we noticed the thawed patches on a large asphalt road.
Further along the road to the forest, we saw everywhere that the snow had already melted on the roads, around the trees and bushes .
All known places looked a little different with melted snow.
Having ridden a couple of times from a big long hill, as usual, we went for a walk.
On a hill familiar to us, two lonely pines also looked different with a large patch of grass around them.
Nearby, where in summer high thick grass grew, there was also a large amount of thaw.
Looking around on the hill, we went further.
Slowly we reach the next pair of lonely pines.
On the way, I almost do not take pictures. Firstly, the forest does not look so beautiful. Take a look yourself.
Secondly, it seems that my fantasy in this forest has already dried up. I have already photographed everything that is possible. In addition, today somehow too little light.
Then I start experimenting.
Children have time to play snowballs on the way.
Last night was a light rain. The snow surface has become more even. Continuing the experiments, I decided to take a photo of the ski track on this snow.

Today we go slowly. It seems to be drizzling light rain. We understand that this walk is most likely the last one in this season. By the next weekend there will be almost no snow.
Having reached another big slide, we made 5 or 6 descents. I skated my son and daughter on the snow scooter. The snow scooter rolled through the wet snow perfectly. The speed of the descent was much greater than usual. It seems that the children got a taste and were ready to go down many more times, but it was hard to climb.
Everyone was tired and decided to go home. As usual, my son and I drove to the car on a snow scooter. Our girls chased us on foot.
Despite the fact that by the end of the walk the rain was drizzling more and more, we were pleased with this walk and will miss these walks until next winter.
At the same time, I hope that we will come here in spring and summer. It is a pity that there is no rental bikes. Riding on this forest on bicycles would be very cool.
Today I say goodbye to you. My next walks on Wednesdays will be spring.
